ICE Students Training with Chemmy Alcott and Alain Baxter

What a treat the ICE students had last week being trained by past Olympians. ICE Race week certainly lived up to and exceeded expectations. Working with such legends is always inspirational and moved many of our ICE students.

Chemmy, 4 times Olympian again couldn't be faltered in her strive to pass on her depth of racing tips. Chemmy gave a great presentation called 'Life in the Fast Lane' which inspired all. She is a specialist race coach and all those involved on the 4, 5 and 10 week courses benefit from Chemmy's expertise in giant slalom. She was British National Champion 7 times and remains the only British skier to win a run in World Cup.

Alain Baxter shared his wealth of knowledge from racing on the World Cup stage reaching number 11 in the World and Bronze in slalom in 2002. With the forthcoming Olympics looming, the ICE students could chat freely with Chemmy and Alain about their time as a professional racers.
A great and inspiring week for all.
