Val d'Isere re-opens for skiing and snowboarding on June 6th

Following its early closure in March 2020, there has been no skiing or snowboarding in Val d'Isere. For many months the residents of Val d'Isere had to look forlornly at pristine empty pistes and dormant lifts while the town fell silent.

That is about to change however as Val d'Isere is due to open its glacier skiing in Le Fornet ahead of the summer season and looks forward to welcome intrepid snowsport enthusiasts keen to lay down some turns after a period of abstinence. Covid-19 regulations will of course be observed and the area will be limited to 600 people per day at this stage.

This bodes well for the forthcoming winter season and we have released a full winter program of courses for this season as usual.
