Wintersports travel insurance

ICE cannot advise on specific insurance policies, however it is a condition on booking with us that you obtain suitable wintersports travel insurance from a reputable provider. Your policy should include, at minumum, the following:

  • Emergency medical expenses, including mountain rescue, ambulance costs, and repatriation.
  • Cancellation or curtailment of your trip.
  • Travel and transfer delays, inlcuding additional costs incurred due to delays.
  • Cover for all activities you are likely to take part in, inlcuding but not limited to: off piste skiing (with or without a guide), snowpark use, ski racing in non-competitive environments.
  • Cover from the date of booking until the final day of your trip, with no clause allowing the insurer to cancel except in exceptional circumstances (e.g. fraud or misrepresentation).
  • There are other sections to wintersports travel Insurance such as baggage, legal expenses, personal accident and so on.

In the event that you fail to obtain suitable Wintersports Insurance, we shall not be liable for any costs incurred or claims made against us due to your failure to comply with this term.
