BASI Level 2 Course
8 days
BASI module
Take the next step on the BASI pathway with our 8 day training and assessment course, designed to help you earn an internationally recognised ski instructor qualification. This course, structured in two blocks of four days, focuses on developing and evaluating your technical and teaching skills.
The curriculum includes Central Theme, piste performance, bumps, steeps, variable snow, freestyle, and performance analysis. You’ll practice teaching principles such as safety, group leadership, communication, and customer care. The course is challenging, but you’ll have a dedicated team supporting you.
To attend this course, you must hold a BASI Level 1 qualification, which is a prerequisite unless you have an approved equivalence from another system.
While being an exceptional athlete is not necessary, maintaining good personal fitness helps reduce fatigue and the potential for injury. Familiarity with the BASI manual, especially the Fundamentals Elements and the Central Theme, will be beneficial. Your teaching experience will be developed during the course. It is helpful to have considered various teaching scenarios and how you would approach instructing a group.
On the course:
- All training course fees
- 8 days of world class training from BASI Trainers
- Assessment to the BASI Level 2 criteria
