I chose ICE mostly due to the high standards of the trainers and the opportunities they offered to us during the course. Such as the slalom and GS skiing.

  BASI module

Gain your BASI Level 1 on this independent course - the first rung on the BASI ladder. Receive the best snowboard tuition on your way to a snowboard instructor qualification.

The BASI Level 1 Instructor Course is the first instructor qualification within the BASI pathway of training and grading. It is the initial step on the route to eventually becoming an internationally recognised Snowsport instructor. The course aims to provide you with the basic information and skills needed to develop your practical performance. If you choose to do the Seasonal BASI Level 3 Course this module is included as part of the course.

Training will primarily take place on snow and be supplemented with online learning tutorials, and video reviews. This 4 day course aims to provide you with the essential information and skills needed to develop your practical performance in the Central Theme, piste performance, and teaching principles.

Your personal contribution will be an important aspect of the course. We want you to enjoy the course, learn the fundamentals, and have a great time. While we don't need you to be superhuman athletes, it's important you prepare yourself for the course both physically and mentally, as you will be spending five hours a day on snow.
